Welcome to Children of Lesotho e.V.

We connect people in Stegen, Germany, and Lesotho – through a school partnership, volunteers on the ground and sponsorships for children who need support.

A small association with a big partnership

Our recognition as a non-profit organisation by the German tax office allows us to carry out the following activities:

Mission statement of Children of Lesotho
  • School partnership Stegen – Mafeteng

Between Kolleg St. Sebastian in Stegen and Kingsgate Primary School in Mafeteng. We keep teachers and pupils in touch, build new toilet facilities, renovate classrooms and organise study visits in both directions.

  • Malealea Development Trust

A partnership with the development programme for the village community on the Malealea plateau.

  • weltwärts volunteer service

Children of Lesotho e.V. is a recognised weltwärts sending organisation with four placements: two at Kingsgate Primary School and two with the Malealea Development Trust.

  • Sponsorships

Our members sponsor orphans and children in need.

Through many kinds of exchange between Germany and Lesotho, we want to help create a better and fairer life for our “ONE WORLD”.
